Tap dance is a form of dance characterised by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion.
Tap Junior 3
Tap Levels 1-9
Tap Teen
(6-7 years)
The students will learn the basic tap rhythm steps and combinations.
Students will work towards a medal test in term 3 and performing at the End of Year Concert.
(8 years plus)
The students will learn the NZAMD tap syllabus and prepare for examinations in September.
They will then learn and rehearse a dance for the End of year concert.
(13 + years)
Students will learn tap rhythm steps and combinations.
Students will work towards performing at the End of Year Concert.
