CONTEMPORARY
Originally emerging as a rebellion against the technical rigidity of ballet, contemporary evolved as an expressive dance style utilising momentum and release within its movement. Contemporary students will learn about the movement of their bodies and how this can be harnessed in order to create new ways of moving.
With a focus on individuality and creativity, contemporary will appeal to those who are artistically inclined and enjoying creating, expressing and exploring with their bodies.
